My son Zachary said this to me today and it was simply...awesome. It was the right thing to say to me. Almost as if it were from God Himself. For the last few months I've been somewhat in the dumps over my father's cancer condition and thinking of how much time I have left on Earth and how much time I've spent doing dumb things. I have a number of regrets and wish I had not made some of the choices I have made. I've been thinking of how short life is and while you're young you just don't realize how short it is. It is only when you get to be in your 40s you realize how short it is. Well, Zachary saying this when he did was simply...perfect.
