Honestly I don't know under what category this falls. But it was for a history project for my son in like 5th or 6th grade. He had to design a board game for the American Revolution. This is what the two of us came up with. It had a box and two different cards you drew from as well. It was kind of lame, but I think the board was kind of cool.
We printed this out and then glued it to some foam board so it actually looked like a board game.

Good selection of American Revolution battles. Perhaps I would have chosen Germantown over Brandywine, as Washington's plan almost worked there - but both battles were American defeats.
